Anxiety takes away more than your peace of mind—it makes everything feel harder than it should.
Therapy can help you calm your nervous system, get to the root of the worry, and feel different in the moments that used to take over.
You might be nodding along to some of these:
Things that seem easy for other people feel overwhelming to me
I dread social events, small talk, or difficult conversations
Perfectionism keeps me procrastinating, or afraid to start at all
I need reassurance to make a decision, and then I question it anyway
My mind won't shut off, and I'm exhausted from analyzing everything
I understand why I feel anxious, but I still feel stuck
Anxiety loves a replay. The conversation from Tuesday, the email you already sent, the thing you said three years ago. In therapy, you'll learn strategies to interrupt the loop when it starts, wherever you are. And each week, we'll have a dedicated space to unpack what's left and keep building on what's working.

Some worry is part of being human. But when one worry settles and another immediately takes its place, it stops being a passing feeling and starts running your life. Living in a constant state of unease is exhausting. Therapy can help you find what's actually driving it, so you can feel calmer and more in control.

A missed text, a delayed response, a shift in tone, and suddenly your mind is three steps ahead, preparing for the worst. For some people, relationship anxiety looks like reassurance-seeking, overthinking, or fear of abandonment. For others, it looks like pulling away or keeping things surface-level before anyone can get close enough to hurt them.
Either way, it often creates the very distance you're trying to avoid. Sometimes it's about the current relationship, and sometimes it's rooted in older attachment wounds. Therapy can help you understand where it comes from and feel more secure, in your relationships and in yourself.

I used to think anxiety was a powerful motivator. It turns out there are far healthier, and far less exhausting, ways to get things done.
Anxiety can look like productivity, but it usually shows up as perfectionism, procrastination, imposter syndrome, overworking, or burnout. When your nervous system is stuck in overdrive, it's hard to think clearly or trust your decisions, and work starts following you home. Therapy can help you work with more confidence and a lot less dread.

Parental anxiety can feel relentless: worst-case scenarios, a hard time trusting anyone else with your child, and never quite feeling "off duty."
As both a therapist and a mom who has struggled with anxiety myself, I know how convincing these fears can feel, especially when they come from love. But kids learn emotional regulation less from what we tell them and more from what we model. Therapy can help you feel calmer and more present, so your child gets the steady, grounded parent you want to be. It's never too late, no matter their age.

Anxiety lives in the body as much as the mind. Chest tightness, racing thoughts, panic attacks, muscle tension, stomach issues, headaches, or feeling constantly on edge are all common. It's especially frustrating when you logically know you're safe and your body hasn't gotten the message. Therapy can help you understand the mind-body connection and build tools that actually help your body settle.
You cannot think your way out of survival mode.
Together, we’ll work on:
-
Coping Skills
When your nervous system is on high alert, it's hard to think clearly, let alone respond the way you want to. So we start by helping your mind and body feel safer, with practical tools that calm things down in the moment and create space for clearer thinking.
-
Identifying the Sources
Coping skills help in the moment, but lasting change means finding what's fueling the anxiety in the first place, whether that's old beliefs, past experiences, or patterns you learned long ago.
-
New Perspectives
This is where it starts to feel different. You'll practice responding from self-trust instead of guilt, fear, or obligation: making decisions without second-guessing them, communicating your needs, and protecting your time and energy.
Anxiety therapy can help you:
Be present for the moments that matter, instead of stuck in your head
Make decisions with confidence, and stop second-guessing them afterward
Quiet the overthinking, rumination, and constant what-ifs
Feel more secure in your relationships, with less need for reassurance
Set boundaries without the guilt spiral
Sleep better, have more energy, and finally get out of survival mode

I work with both the mind and the body. In-the-moment tools matter, because it's hard to think clearly when your body is in survival mode. But lasting change usually means looking deeper at the beliefs, experiences, and attachment patterns underneath the anxiety.
It's also practical. We might walk through an anxious situation together, make a realistic plan for the conversation you've been avoiding, or work on boundaries and communication, so you leave each session with something you can actually use.
At the same time, lasting change often requires looking deeper at the patterns, beliefs, experiences, and emotional responses contributing to the anxiety in the first place. Together, we may explore root causes, relationship dynamics, attachment patterns, unresolved experiences, or underlying fears that continue fueling anxiety beneath the surface.
My approach is highly personalized and combines practical tools, nervous system regulation, emotional insight, and collaborative problem-solving. This may include walking through anxious scenarios together, creating realistic plans of action, improving communication and boundaries, and helping you build greater confidence in your ability to handle difficult situations moving forward.

It's different for everyone, and that's okay. Some people come in for a specific challenge or a stressful season and feel ready to move on after a while. Others find they love having the space and stay longer to keep growing. We'll keep checking in together, so the pace always feels right for you.

Only if you want to. Many of my clients with anxiety prefer phone sessions, so they can get comfortable and focus on the conversation instead of the camera. There's no need to "pull it together" first. Show up as you are, from your couch, your bed, or in your pajamas.
